New Years Day was such a big day for Zoë and her Momma.

Zoë is now out of the PICU!  She is located on 6 East now, which is the Oncology floor.

Zoë is doing wonderfully, and even is starting to have her strong personality shine through.  She is refusing to sleep, and started pooping again.  Yay!

The mass in her abdomen is causing her to still have a lot of discomfort, and pain, so she is still being medicted for that.  They measure her about once a shift, and it looks like her tumor is stable, or growing very slowely.  Which is such good news.  I hope that the next round of Chemo will start the shrinking process.

Yesterday I also got to hold her for the first time in DAYS!  I think it was more comfy for me than her. I wanted her to drop off into dreamland.  But she just decited to be awake and fussy.  She also had a bit of a spa treatment with hair washing, and a facial.

We are not settleing into our new room, and guess what.  WE HAVE A SINGLE!!  Whoo Hoo!  And...Mommy
has her own bathroom!!!  Maybe Mommy can have a spa day of her own soon.  :)

We are also Skypeable now.  So if you want to chat let me know and I will give you our Skype name.

Today's mission is to do some exploring into more of what the hospital has to offer.  Locate the Child Life Specialist, so that Zoë can have some fun things to look at.  Have a nice lunch with Memere, and see if we cannot get Daddy set up with Skype too.

Love and Hugs
from 6 East!
